🫶 What worked for me...

I really enjoyed "The Teacher"! It was fast-paced, gripping, and utterly scandalous. My opinions on each character seemed to change with every chapter. Most books written by Freida McFadden are easy-to-read popcorn thrillers that will take you a day or two to get through. This was just that. When I choose to read a book by McFadden, it's for quick entertainment purposes, and I never tend to pick the story apart. So, in my opinion, it did its job.

🤷‍♀️ What didn't work for me...

The only reason this book didn't make the cut for a five-star read is due to the rushed ending. Also, object fixation and bullying are themes that were included in her last book, The Coworker, which seems a bit repetitive to include in The Teacher, too.

Overall, I would recommend this book to any thriller lover looking for a fast and easy read. Just please check the trigger warnings before reading.
